A few months ago, we had a close friend, Aithan Shapiro, sit in on one of our a rehearsals to help us formalize our branding. He had us discuss how we see ourselves and how others see us. We made a list of all the adjectives that came to mind and after a couple weeks we narrowed that list down to five key aspects of the Sons of Serendip collective personality: Classy, Spiritual, Sensitive, Timeless and Genuine. These five aspects of our branding would be referenced in almost every group decision, be it wardrobe, song choice, or logo design. Regarding the latter, we've finally decided on the logo you see to the right.
We went through so many variations of the logo before coming across this one. We felt that this one best captures those five aspects of our branding more than any other option we were presented with. Many thanks to all who voted on your favorite logo design. Your vote greatly helped us narrow down all the possibilities and rest on the one that best captures the soul of SOS.
